Louis XVIII once said that punctuality is the politeness of kings. At that time he didn't even suspect that punctuality will become also the politeness of aircrafts in a couple of centuries. We are glad to present you the «Slot Guru» event at which you will able to show your planning and precise flight skills.


I N F O R M A T I O N

Pilot has to perform flight from any airport to Platov (URRP, Rostov-on-Don City) . Also he has to land as close as possible to his booked slot. Landing time will be fixed accurate to the second. Distance between airports is calculated between ARPs. Platov airport will be opened only for event participants. In order to participate in the event pilots have to:

1. Book their slots at slotguru.xr.ivao.aero;
2. Specify departure airport and callsign;
3. Specify RMK/SLOTGURU in flight plan remarks;
4. Try to land as close as possible to booked time;
5. Landing is considered as performed when:
— aircraft label passed runway threshold;
— aircraft altitude is less than 100ft;
— aircraft ground speed is less that 100kt.
6. Observer's radar updates every 5 seconds. The margin of error of 5 seconds is interpreted in favor of the participant.


We kindly ask pilots to:

• Update navdata (AIRAC).
• Prepare aerodrome charts.
• Comply with aerodromes restrictions and limitations.[/b]
• Be ready for perform holding pattern or radar vectoring.
• Respect other pilots and do not interrupt them
  on frequency. That will make control better.
